N.B.: considered a junior synonym of Elaphopus Menge, 1879 by Wunderlich, 2008e: 687, but Wunderlich supplied no new data about the identity of the type species of that name, E. flagillifera (Menge, 1869), which remains a nomen dubium (see note under Elaphopus).
