N.B.: the family name Palpimanidae (as Palpimaninae) and the name Otiothopidae Thorell, 1869: 43 (as Otiothopoidae) are introduced in the same publication; the current subfamilies of Palpimanidae are Chediminae, Otiothopinae and Palpimaninae; former subfamilies are the current families Huttoniidae and Stenochilidae.
