N.B.: considered a senior synonym of Pisenorodes Pocock, 1898g: 228 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:04978] (type P. hoehneli Pocock, 1898 = Pisenor notius Simon, 1889) by Benoit, 1966c: 228 and of Urothele Tullgren, 1910: 86 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:04976] (type Idiommata lepida Gerstaecker, 1873) by Raven, 1985a: 112, who placed all species of Pisenor (except its type species, P. notius Simon, 1888) in Cyphonisia Simon, 1889; the synonymy of Pisenorodes with Cyphonisia as stated by Raven, 1985a: 112 is not possible, because the type species of Pisenorodes is a synonym of the type species of Pisenor.
