N.B.: gender of the genus stated as feminine by Bonnet, 1957: 2352 and Grasshoff, 1983: 227; but Roberts, 1985: 216 mentions "According to the rules of the International Commission on Zoological Nomenclature, names ending in -oides are masculine.".
