N.B.: considered a senior synonym of Umfila Keyserling, 1886b: 256 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:05684] (type U. granulata Keyserling, 1886), Stictoxena Simon, 1895g: 138 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:05683] (type S. sertata Simon, 1895) and Paoningia Schenkel, 1936b: 41 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:05682] (type P. turriceps Schenkel, 1936) by Levi & Levi, 1962: 25-32; restricted by Wunderlich, 1988: 149 to the type species, D. melanogaster (C. L. Koch, 1837), with other species being assigned to the resurrected junior synonym Lasaeola Simon, 1881 or to Dipoenata Wunderlich, 1988; most species were unplaced by Wunderlich, and only those few taxa definitely assigned by him are listed here as being transferred (see similar note under Yaginumena Yoshida, 2002); not a senior synonym of Trigonobothrys Simon, 1889 (Yoshida, 2002a: 14, contra Levi & Levi, 1962: 25-32) or Pselothorax Chamberlin, 1949: 541 (transferred from the Linyphiidae) (Yoshida, 2002a: 13, contra Ivie, 1967: 126).
