Koch, 1850: 65 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:05476] (type Attus fasciatus Hahn, 1826) by Simon, 1901a: 670; Parthenia was described as subgenus of Euophrys C. L. Koch, 1834 and is preoccupied in Diptera by Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 (already noted by Thorell, 1869: 36) and in Gastropoda by Lowe, 1841.
