N.B.: Forster & Wilton considered the genus incertae sedis; placed in the Amphinectidae by Brignoli, 1983c: 499 and transferred to the Stiphididiae by Wheeler et al., 2017: 608; transfer of Aorangia poppelwelli to the Agelenidae (Murphy & Roberts, 2015: viii) not sufficiently justified and is not accepted here, furthermore is it not the type species of the genus.
