L. Koch, 1837), and Sittilong Prószyński, 2017a: 44 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:04397] (type Attus longipes Canestrini, 1873), with Attulus; considered a synonym of Ino C. L. Koch, 1850: 63 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:06212] (described as a subgenus of Euophrys C. L. Koch, 1834; type Aranea pubescens Fabricius, 1775), preoccupied in Crustacea by Schrank, 1803 and others (see Bonnet, 1957: 2297), by Simon, 1901a: 581 (sub Sitticus); Sitticulus was synonymized with Sitticus by Prószyński, 1973a: 72 (by transfer of the type species) and regarded as synonym of Attulus by Prószyński, 2017: 39 (by transfer of the type species); Calositticus and Hypositticus were described as subgenera of Sitticus, elevated to genus rank and recognized as senior synonyms of Sittiflor and Sittipub by Blick & Marusik, 2018: 237.
