N.B.: considered a senior synonym of Phaulothrix Bertkau, in Förster & Bertkau, 1883: 227 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:05211] (type Walckenaera hardyi Blackwall, 1850) by Prószyński & Starega, 1971: 125 (through transfer of the type species); those names are not senior synonyms of Hilaira Simon, 1884 (Merrett, Locket & Millidge, 1985: 397, contra Millidge, 1977: 8); Phaulothrix was given as replacement name, but the name is only valid outside of Animalia in Proteobacteria by Kützing, 1843.
