N.B.: Palaeolinyphia Wunderlich, 1986: 83 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:05344] (type P. flagellifera Wunderlich, 1986, from Dominican amber) was considered a senior synonym of Selenyphantes by Platnick, 1993c: 349 because of Wunderlich's transfer of Lephthyphantes longispinosus to Palaeolinyphia; Moreira & Hormiga, 2021: 909 synonymized the type species of Palaeolinyphia (P. flagellifera Wunderlich, 1986) with Jalapyphantes minoratus and therefor in fact, but not explicitly, Palaeolinyphia with Jalapyphantes.
