N.B.: transferred from the Dipluridae to the Hexathelidae by Raven, 1980a: 255 and to the Porrhothelidae by Hedin et al., 2018: 5; the synonym of of the senior name Hexops Ausserer, 1871a: 155 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:06336] (type H. whitei Ausserer, 1871), considered by Dalmas, 1917a: 321 (by synonymy of the type species), has been suppressed by all authors for lack of usage (see Bonnet, 1957: 2206 and Forster, 1968: 165).
