N.B.: transferred from the Agelenidae (as a subgenus of
Cicurina Menge, 1871, after
Chamberlin & Ivie, 1942a: 21) to the Dictynidae (Cicurininae) by
Lehtinen, 1967: 222; elevated to genus by
de Blauwe, 1973a: 16 and
Brignoli, 1983c: 518; transfer to the Cicurinidae (
Murphy & Roberts, 2015: viii) was not sufficiently justified and not accepted here; transferred to the Hahniidae by
Wheeler et al., 2017: 607 [not explicitely, but the type genus of Cicurininae,
Cicurina, was transferred] and to the Cicurinidae by
Gorneau et al., 2023: 11.
