Zodariidae Thorell, 1881

Family |   ACCEPTED
N.B.: the family name Zodariidae is protected by usage over the earlier name Cryptothelidae L. Koch, 1872a: 238 to keep nomenclatorial stability; separation of Cryptothelidae (Murphy & Roberts, 2015: viii) not sufficiently justified and is not accepted here; Jocqué, 1991a stated the subfamilies Cryptothelinae, Cydrelinae Simon, 1893, Cyriocteinae Jocqué, 1991, Lachesaninae Jocqué, 1991, Storeninae Simon, 1893, Storenomorphinae Simon, 1890 and Zodariinae; synonymy of the Cydrelinae with the Cryptothelinae considered by Ramírez et al., 2014: 392.
Gen. Psammorygma Jocqué, 1991 urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:02312
N.B.: generic name treated as feminine by Jocqué but the Greek noun orygma is neuter (H. D. Cameron in litt. to N. I. Platnick).
