Chummidae, Malenellinae [transferred from the Anyphaenidae, genus Malenella] and and Tasmarubriinae [transferred from the Amphinectidae, genera Tasmarubrius, Tasmabrochus and Teeatta]) and Ovtchinnikoviinae Marusik, Kovblyuk, & Ponomarev, 2010; Pakeha and Paravoca transferred from the Amaurobiidae to the Cycloctenidae and Bakala, Manjala and Poaka from the Amaurobiidae to the Desidae by Wheeler et al., 2017: 606; Macrobuninae elevated to family by Gorneau et al., 2023: 10; the family is not monophyletic per Kulkarni, Wood & Hormiga, 2023: 515, f. 15-16.
