N.B.: The name of the family is formed correctly in accordance with ICZN article 29.3.1., based on the stem of the genitive singular (Paratropidis) of the name of the type genus (Paratropis) (contra Murphy & Roberts, 2015: viii). Furthermore a wrong spelling would be protected by ICZN article 29.5.
