type Tuberta insignipalpis Simon, 1884; gender feminine; syn. of Tuberta maerens (O. Pickard-Cambridge, 1863)
N.B.: transferred from the Agelenidae to the Hahniidae (Cryphoecinae) by
Lehtinen, 1967: 272 and to the Cybaeidae by
Wheeler et al., 2017: 606 [not explicitely, but the type genus of Cryphoecinae,
Cryphoeca, was transferred]; considered a relative of
Mastigusa Menge, 1854 (which is meanwhile also in Cybaeaidae) and as a possible member of the Dictynidae by
Wunderlich & Hansen, 1995: 316; transfer to the Cicurinidae (
Murphy & Roberts, 2015: viii) not sufficiently justified and is not followed here.
