Forster & Platnick, 1985: 6;
Deeleman-Reinhold & Deeleman, 1988: 148 raised Cooke's remaining tribes to the subfamilies Dysderinae, Harpacteinae and Rhodinae; the Harpacteinae include the former tribe Holisseae
Simon, 1893a: 314 [which would be the older name]; the monophyly of Dysderinae and Rhodinae is confirmed, but the Harpacteinae are considered paraphyletic by
Adrián-Serrano, Pavlek & Arnedo, 2024: 592.
