N.B.: the authorship of the family is corrected from Simon, 1876a: 226 to Simon, 1864: 342 (sub Dolomediens) following the arguing by Marusik & Özkütük, 2026: 276; the French ending -iens was not accepted as taxon at familiar level by Bonnet, Platnick and in the WSC until 2026; removed from the synonymy of Pisauridae (confirming Lehtinen, 1967: 231, rejecting Sierwald, 1990: 50) and synonymy of Bradystichidae Simon, 1884e: 298 by Morris, Hazzi & Hormiga, 2025: 8 (confirmed by Yu et al., 2025: 431); Bradystichidae are removed from the synonym of Pisauridae, rejecting Platnick & Forster, 1993: 3 and were removed from the synonymy of Lycosidae by Lehtinen, 1967: 293.
